This year's Academy of Competence will be held on 13-24 April 2026 and will be unique not only because of the milestone edition, but above all thanks to co-creating the programme together with you.
About the Academy of Competences
The Academy of Competences is a series of free training sessions, workshops and webinars led by business practitioners. Invited companies share their know-how with the UniLodz community, presenting real-world challenges and solutions from the labour market. This is a unique opportunity not only to broaden your horizons but also to network and meet potential employers.
The initiative has been implemented continuously since 2006. Over the 24 editions to date, we have delivered 870 training sessions, with over 14,000 participants.
The opinions and needs of participants have been the foundation of the event's programme for years.
Training needs survey – why is it important?
The training needs survey is the moment when you can truly influence the shape of the 2026 Academy of Competences. The collected responses will be used to prepare a cooperation offer for companies and institutions interested in conducting training as part of the event.
We will prioritise collaboration with partners whose proposals best align with the expressed needs of the University of Lodz community.
What does the survey look like?
The survey takes the form of a short survey that takes only a few minutes to complete. It asks about:
- training themes that interest you most,
- specific tools and topics you'd like to learn about,
- preferred class format and duration.
Thanks to your responses, we can design the Academy of Competences to best meet your expectations.
What's next with the results?
We are committed to transparency throughout the entire process. After the survey is completed, we will publish a summary on our website. The most frequently identified thematic areas will be included in the proposal we will send to potential partners of the 2026 Academy of Competences. This will serve as the basis for developing the programme for the anniversary edition of the event.
We cannot promise to implement all ideas, but we can assure you that we will do our best to ensure that the programme is diverse, current and engaging.
