As of 14.04.2025, access to the shared faculty car park between the Faculties of Biology and Environmental Protection, Applied Physics and Informatics, Mathematics and Computer Science, and Management of the University of Lodz will be granted exclusively to full-time students, part-time students, postgraduate students, and employees of these faculties who possess the requisite authorisation and entry card.

Conditions of use

The provision of authorisation and a parking card is contingent upon the following conditions:

  • Only students and postgraduate students of the faculties may apply.
  • The applicant must be the owner, co-owner or user of a vehicle belonging to an immediate family member.
  • The vehicle must be accompanied by a valid registration certificate and third-party insurance.
  • Students living on campus are not granted access to the car park.
     

For whom?

The shared faculty car park is available to full-time students, part-time students, postgraduate students of the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection, Faculty of Physics and Applied Computer Science, Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science and Faculty of Management of the University of Lodz. Entry for employees of the aforementioned Faculties is on a separate basis.

Fees

The parking fee for the period from 2 October 2025 to 22 February 2026 is:
- PLN 200 for full-time students
- PLN 130 for part-time students and postgraduate students.

The issuance of a parking card and authorisation requires timely payment within 2 working days of sending information on how to make the payment and sending confirmation of payment by email to parking4w@uni.lodz.pl, under penalty of removal from the list of qualified applicants. 

Important information

  • Authorisations and parking cards are valid for one semester.
  • The number of authorisations and parking cards is limited. They will be issued until the limit is reached for students and postgraduate students of the respective faculty.
  • Parking cards and authorisations will be granted separately for:
    • Full-time students: access to the car park from Monday to Friday.
    • Part-time students and postgraduate students: access from Friday from 3 p.m. to Sunday.
  • Receipt of a parking card does not guarantee a permanent parking space.
  • If the conditions are not met or if false information is given in the application, entitlements will be unconditionally withdrawn.
     

Additional rules

  • Possession of a parking card and authorisation are prerequisites for leaving a vehicle in the car park, provided that there are available parking spaces.
  • It is incumbent upon the user to display the authorisation received in a visible place behind the windscreen of the vehicle.
  • The shared faculty car park is unguarded, and secured by entry barriers; it is available 24 hours a day.
  • It is imperative to note that the provisions stipulated within the Road Traffic Act, along with a stipulated speed limit of 20 km/h, are applicable within the confines of the car park.
  • It is forbidden to stop or park on access and fire roads and other places where vehicles may obstruct the passage of emergency services and the Police.
  • Smoking, the use of open flames, the consumption of alcohol, the storage of fuel, the refuelling of vehicles, or the undertaking of repairs are strictly prohibited. 
  • Vehicles must not be left with the engine running.
  • Vehicles must not be left in the car park for more than 24 hours.
