INFO BOARD
Juwenalia (Student Festival) of the University of Lodz and the Medical University of Lodz will take over a week – on 6-14 May various events will be available to students and doctoral students from both partner universities. This year's festival programme includes not only outdoor events and concerts on the premises of the Lumumbowo student housing estate, but also sports attractions, training, tournaments and competitions. This year, after a long break, the iconic Juwenalia Parade returns to Piotrkowska Street.

On the occasion of Juwenalia (Student Festival) Prof. dr hab. Elżbieta Żądzińska, Rector of the University of Lodz, has established 10 May (Friday) as a day off from classes at the University of Lodz.

Due to the low number of Fridays in the summer semester, the dean has decided the following:
On 30.04.2024 (Tuesday) and 20.05.2024 (Monday) classes will be held as scheduled on Friday.
Individual class schedules are available on USOSWeb platform.
This year's Competence Academy takes place from 15-26 April. All training sessions start at 10.00 AM.
Stationary workshops take place at the Career Office of the University of Lodz (ul. Lumumby 14), webinars and online workshops - in MS Teams application.
The Competence Academy offers a workshop in English conducted by Sollers Consulting on 15.04.2024.

Meeting on Apprenticeship is to be held on 26.03.2024 (Tuesday) at 7.30 PM in Teams.
The meeting is compulsory for 2nd year and 3rd year of the Bachelor degree students.
1st year students of Bachelor Degree are also welcome to join the meeting.

We would like to remind you that all requests for enrolment in elective courses, repeated courses, courses arising from curriculum differences should be sent directly to plan@wmii.uni.lodz.pl until 17 March 2024.
From 18 March 2024 to 25 March 2024, enrolment or withdrawal from courses is only possible with the approval of the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs and Quality of Education. In that case, the appropriate application must be submitted in room A228.

Please check in the USOS system that you are registered for all courses that must be passed in the summer semester 2023/2024 - this includes courses from the study programme, repeated courses, elective courses, courses from curriculum differences, etc.
In the USOS system, there must be only those courses that you must pass, i.e., those courses from which you will take examinations/assessments in the summer semester 2023/2024.

On 11 March, we are starting the next edition of the WorkShow – an industry job fair at the University of Lodz. Thirty-seven companies and 10 public institutions will take part in this year's edition. During the event, employers will have a chance to easily and quickly reach a large number of students with education profiles that are in high demand. Those present at the fair, in addition to finding tailored job offers, will benefit from the support of career advisors from the Career Office and CV consultations.
This year the job fair will be held at five faculties from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.:

Student is obliged to enrol for Electives, Degree Projects and Team Project during electronic registration in the USOS system.

Repeated courses enrolment is possible until the first 2 weeks of the semester.
From the 3rd week of the semester, the student must obtain the consent of the teacher to be added to the group.
Group change only in justified cases is possible until the first 2 weeks of the semester.
From the 3rd week of the semester onwards, the student must obtain the teacher's permission to join a new group and the teacher's permission to leave the current group.
