Computer Science

All students of the first year of Bachelor degree and the first year of Master degree who begin their studies in the academic year 2025/2026 are obliged to take and pass OSH course 2025/26, Training course in copyright 2025/26 and Library training 2025/26.

The courses are available from October 2025 on Moodle platform.

According to Academic Calendar didactic classes in the winter semester start on 2 October 2025 and last until 25 January 2026.

The collective class schedule is published at Class Schedule website

Individual class schedules are available on USOSWeb platform.

Students are asked to check the schedule before each class due to changes that may occur for reasons unrelated to the faculty.

On 30.10.2025 (Thursday) classes will be held as scheduled on Tuesday.

Moreover, we would like to remind you that all requests for enrolment in repeated courses should be sent directly to plan@wmii.uni.lodz.pl by 17 October 2025.

Requests for enrolment in elective courses, courses arising from curriculum differences should be submitted on a paper application form in room A228 by 17 October 2025.

From 18 October 2025 to 31 October 2025, enrolment or withdrawal from courses is only possible with the approval of the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs and Quality of Education. In this case, the appropriate application must be submitted in room A228.

From 1 November 2025, enrolment or withdrawal from the course is only possible with the approval of the course teacher. In this case, the appropriate application must be submitted in room A228.

Please check in the USOS system that you are registered for all courses that must be passed in the winter semester 2025/2026 - this includes courses from the study program, repeated courses, elective courses, courses from curriculum differences, etc..

In the USOS system, there must be only those courses that you must pass, i.e.,  those courses from which you will take examinations/assessments in the winter semester 2025/2026.

The Deadline to complete all courses of the summer semester 2024/2025 is 30.09.2025.

Students who have passed all courses and examinations from the summer semester of the academic year 2024/2025 (grades are already in the USOS system) are requested to notify the relevant office (A210 or A211) by email or in person.

Only if all courses are notified as having been passed will the student settle the summer semester and be promoted to the next semester. 

No grades in USOS or/and some courses are failed

Division of the academic year 2025/2026

As of 14.04.2025, access to the shared faculty car park between the Faculties of Biology and Environmental Protection, Applied Physics and Informatics, Mathematics and Computer Science, and Management of the University of Lodz will be granted exclusively to full-time students, part-time students, postgraduate students, and employees of these faculties who possess the requisite authorisation and entry card.

Did you know that having your name on the student list alone does not guarantee the status of student? In order to become a full member of our academic community and fully enjoy student privileges, be sure to complete very important formalities between 1 and 10 October.

To fully enjoy student privileges, you should take the following actions:

• log in to your USOSWeb account
• accept the statement of familiarisation with and obedience to the rules of payment for educational services provided at the University of Lodz for full-time / part-time / paid full-time studies in a foreign language
• accept the confirmation of taking the oath (NOTE: the oaths are separate for each study programme for which documents were submitted).

If you do not accept both of these declarations by the specified deadline (10 October), your entry on the student list will be cancelled!

Student is obliged to enrol for Electives, Degree Projects and Team Project during electronic registration in the USOS system. 
If the student has not registered electronically, the student must contact us by e-mail or in person.

Repeated courses enrolment is possible until the first 2 weeks of the semester.
From the 3rd week of the semester, the student must obtain the consent of the teacher to be added to the group.

Group change only in justified cases is possible until the first 2 weeks of the semester.​​​​​
From the 3rd week of the semester onwards, the student must obtain the teacher's permission to join a new group and the teacher's permission to leave the current group.
