Physical Education is a compulsory for the second year of Bachelor Degree in the winter semester and in the summer semester.

Physical Education classes are held once a week and last for 90 minutes.

Electronic Registration (token registration) in USOSweb for PE classes is opened before the winter semester (at the end of September) and before the summer semester (in the second half of February). 

Students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science should choose PE classes on Thursdays from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM, as there are no other classes scheduled during this time.

The information when the PE classes registration starts is provided on the website https://www.swfis.uni.lodz.pl/.

If a student does not register for the PE class electronically before the winter semester, he/she will not be allowed to pass the PE class in the winter semester. In this case, a student is obliged to transfer the PE class to the summer semester. The transfer of the PE class to the summer semester must be approved by the Dean. Consequently, the student must complete two PE classes in the summer semester.

In the case of failure to register for the PE classes and failure to submit the above-mentioned application letter, the student has two failed Physical Education 1 (the winter semester) and Physical Education 2 (the summer semester). This means that the student repeats two PE courses and pays for the courses according to the fee table and can be conditionally promoted to the next semester provided that the total number of failed courses does not exceed 2.

TOKEN REGISTRATION FOR PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASSES

Token registration for Physical Education classes in the winter semester 2025/2026
starts on the 23rd September 2025 at 9.00 AM
and finishes on the 12th October 2025 at midnight. 

PE classes start on the 2nd October 2025 although the registration will be open longer.
