The deadline to complete all courses of the winter semester 2025/2026 is 22.02.2026
Students who have passed all courses and examinations from the winter semester of the academic year 2025/2026 (grades are already in the USOS system) are requested to notify the relevant office (A210 or A211) by email or in person.
Only if all courses are notified as having been passed will the student settle the winter semester and be promoted to the next semester.
No grades in USOS or/and some courses are failed

According to Academic Calendar didactic classes in the winter semester start on 23 February 2026 and last until 14 June 2026.
The collective class schedule is published at Class Schedule website
Individual class schedules are available on USOSWeb platform.
Students are asked to check the schedule before each class due to changes that may occur for reasons unrelated to the faculty.
Students are asked to verify that all courses from the study program are included in the individual class schedule in USOSweb.
Please note.
On 31 March 2026 (Tuesday), classes at our Faculty will be held according to the Friday schedule.
On 29 April 2026 (Wednesday), classes at our Faculty will be held according to the Friday schedule.
Token registration for Physical Education classes in the summer semester 2025/2026
starts on the 17th February 2026 at 9.00 AM
and finishes on the 8th March 2026 at midnight.
PE classes start on the 23rd February 2026 although the registration will be open longer.
Students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science should choose PE classes on Thursdays from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM, as there are no other classes scheduled during this time.

According to Academic Calendar examination sessions in the winter semester 2024/2025 take place on the following dates:
- from 26 January to 2 February 2026 – winter examination session,
- from 16 February to 22 February 2026 – winter make-up examination session.
The written part of the foreign language curriculum exam for first-year students who achieved a minimum level of B2 on the placement test and submitted an application to take the foreign language exam on an earlier date will take place on January 24, 2026 (Saturday) at the Faculty of Physics and Applied Informatics, University of Lodz (ul. Pomorska 149/153) from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
The oral part of the exam will take place on February 1, 2026 (Sunday) from 9.00AM-2.00PM in committees in the faculty rooms, and only those candidates who passed the written part of the exam will be invited to take it.
Details regarding the curriculum exam will be sent to candidates in a separate email by Centre for Languages and Certification.

All students of the first year of Bachelor degree and the first year of Master degree who begin their studies in the academic year 2025/2026 are obliged to take and pass OSH course 2025/26, Training course in copyright 2025/26 and Library training 2025/26.
The courses are available from October 2025 on Moodle platform.

Applications for the Rector's scholarship for the academic year 2025/2026 can be submitted between 6 and 16 October.
The Centre for Education and Student Affairs announces that between 6 and 16 October 2025, applications for the Rector's Scholarship for the 2025/2026 academic year will be accepted.
Applications for scholarships should be registered in the USOSweb system under the tab ‘For all’ - ‘Conclusions’.
A correctly registered application should be completed, printed, signed and delivered to the Student Office of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science by 17 October 2025.
Note that on 17.10.2025 Student Office is closed.

To fully enjoy student privileges, you should take the following actions:
- log in to your USOSWeb account
- accept the statement of familiarisation with and obedience to the rules of payment for educational services provided at the University of Lodz for full-time / part-time / paid full-time studies in a foreign language
- accept the confirmation of taking the oath (NOTE: the oaths are separate for each study programme for which documents were submitted).
If you do not accept both of these declarations by the specified deadline (10 October), your entry on the student list will be cancelled!

Student is obliged to enrol for Electives, Degree Projects and Team Project during electronic registration in the USOS system. If the student has not registered electronically, the student must contact us by e-mail or in person.
Request for enrolment for Repeated Courses should be submitted at the beginning of the semester by email to the following address: plan@wmii.uni.lodz.pl until the first 2 weeks of the semester.
Request for enrolment for Elective Courses, Elective Block, Degree Project and Team Project should be submitted in A228 until the first 2 weeks of the semester. In this case, the appropriate application must be submitted in room A228.

From the 3rd week of the semester, the student must also obtain the consent of the teacher and Vice-Dean for Student Affairs and Quality of Education to be added to the group. In this case, the appropriate application must be submitted in room A228.
Group change only in justified cases is possible until the first 2 weeks of the semester.
